Porter House Catering was founded in 2011, in honor and loving memory of Cynthia Carol Porter ("CC"). We are a family-owned and operated business, established by Ron Porter and family. Ron was born and raised in Eastern North Carolina, and started his love and knowledge of barbeque at the age of 12, when he began helping to cook whole hogs for his home-town fire department.
Porter House's "Secret Sauce" has been passed down and perfected, and has made a name for itself in the Central Virginia area! It is a hit at every grill!!
The members of the Porter House team are founders Ron and Sheila Porter, daughter Kristal Porter Chappell, son-in-law Leif Chappell, aka "BBQ Buddy", and grand-daughters Kaylee Chappell and Ariana Chappell.
